"We are thousands of years in the future"thats what keeping you from understanding the request,if yo read the other thread which is original you can see the ideas on how this primitive weapon can be used and just like the user abovve this post said,"a railgun is like a futuristic crossbow"remember its the future and im sure the devs would be smart enuff to figure something out if they wanted this in the game.just because a request is requested doesnt mean it is gonna be in the game

Railguns use electromagnetism. A crossbow works with string by definition. If you want a railgun, say you want a railgun, I already said a railgun would work. People shuldn't have to go to a different thread to see your arguments. Whether or not some primitive tech can be adapted to be scifi is not the issue, the issue is that its not nearly the most effective method to deliver a round. Why use an inferior and weak method when there are much much much superior methods available? I know a simple request doesn't mean its going to be in the game, but I have just as much right to voice my dislike of an idea as you have to propose an idea. Hearing only from the people who want something, and not from those who appose would give an innacurate portrayal of what players want. I know where this is going, so I won't post here again.
